All in a Day’s Work

Think the office is all heads down, locked at your cubicle? Not here! We work hard but can have fun doing it. For the holidays we participated in an adopt-a-family program with the objective of fulfilling our family’s wish list.  It was a challenge to raise the money but in true Infusion style we succeeded!  All for a good cause and a good time, we raised $473! Enough to get everything our family needed.

We started off by playing BINGO in the office one afternoon and got donations through employees buying the bingo cards to play. The numbers were called out via email to keep things interesting and the winner got a gift card donated by Infusion.  

Our big money maker was a raffle to throw a pie into a mangers face! Tyler Davey (one of our Practice Managers) volunteered to be the target and our excited employees came at lunch to watch the spectacle.  One of the MapPoint developers won and in a flurry of laughter, whip cream and pie bits he got Tyler straight on.

Infusion Cares

Infusion culture is something I try to explain to potential hires on a daily basis, but nothing demonstrates an Infusion employee’s compassion more than some of the examples I have witnessed in the past month. On Oct 23rd, 9 Infusionites donated time, money and climbed the 144 flights of stairs in the CN Tower to help raise funds for the United Way.

Greg Roderick, Andrea Richardson, Richard Brundritt, Dan Levine, Mike Spendlove, Trevor Hunter, Devin Bialo, Ernie Taylor and Jeremy Bibby raised $1,200 in donations which will work to helping out those in need in our community.

Another example of this compassion is the Infusion Blood Drive on November 26th.  After learning that Canada’s blood reserves are at a all time low, Rohit Gosain suggested that Infusion employees step up to donate. His request was answered by 16 employees in a manner of minutes all excited about the idea to help this cause.

On August, Infusion employees pooled together $2,385 to donate to Breakfast for learning. Yet another example of the things Infusion employees can achieve when they work together.

This kind of Infusion compassion and caring for others is shown not just through charity events but in everyday activities. It is what makes us a team and is a fundamental part of the Infusion culture.
