Greetings Sleepless DC/Atlanta Insomniacs!
Well, it's going on a couple of weeks since Sleepless in DC and we're on the last leg of the Roadshow before the Sleepless Tournament of Champions at Microsoft System Office Developer Conference. We're live in the Sleepless Limo at the Sleepless Roadshow in LA. It's a stretch hummer and we've got 17 people, and Mike Leon can't seem to get anything on the radio except for 1970's sad songs.
Elton John's "Your Song" is not an appropriate stretch limo song. Unless it's the hip hop version ... that exists only in my mind.
The crew is getting restless. They're blaming Mike's Canadian sense of music. Shawn K is taking over now. Silence. Silence. Silence. Still no improvement.

Hey Sleepless Folks...
Huge attendance at the Sleepless in Silverlight talk this afternoon. Great crowd coming forth with great questions about Silverlight 1.1 Alpha. As promised below are links to the deck and sample code I created during the second half of the hour.

Team Awesome (Kurt, Shawn, and Mike) is currently in Los Angeles, home of the Dodgers, Lakers, and broken Hollywood dreams. While Mike is busy auditioning for American Idol, Shawn and Kurt are busy setting up the laptops, preparing for the big event.
This weekend is a little different from the Washington weekend: this time we're partnering with the LA code camp, potentially having more than 50 people in our event. Competition during the overnight assignment is going to be pretty intense. Who's gonna walk away with the free trip to Office Dev Con?
While, we're rocking LA, Sheldon and his team are in Dallas. Quick note about Sheldon: last time he and I worked together, we ended up getting pied in the face.
I am sure things will go better this time.
